Franklin Art Scene in Williamson County, Tennessee
When founders Kelly Harwood, Michael Damico and Autumn Bethea considered the lofty possibility of a free art crawl in Williamson County, they had no idea those questions would become a reality and that the event would still be a growing success five years later.
“Artists have a stigma for dreaming big, and that’s exactly how the Franklin Art Scene started,” said Michael Damico of Damico Frame and Art. “As gallery owners and local merchants with an entrepreneurial spirit, and a little bit of foresight, it was just one of those magical moments where we recognized the opportunity for something like this in our historic core.”
